Violin - Classical, Fiddlin’, A Little of Everything
Classically trained since 10 years old, violin is like another limb to me. Fiddle, classical, young or old I think of every student as a blank slate carefully learning they're style and catering my teaching toward the individual. Every student is different but we’ll typically do a combination of book learning and ear training getting into songs or styles the individual wants to learn as soon as possible. Guitar - Let’s Play Songs
Songs are my go-to for guitar lessons. I work to find styles the student is interested in and jump right in. These songs become the driving force to build up your chord knowledge. If you want to learn to shred metal I’m probably the wrong teacher for you. We will dive into music theory, and get into material you want to learn as soon as we can. Drums - Time, Feel, & Connection to the Groove
I am not a chops drummer, I’m all about good timing, feel, and songs. I model myself after pocket guys like Steve Jordan, but I also love Steve Gadd. Trained from the age of 12 I couldn’t stop tapping on things. I’m a huge reggae, hip hop, soul, rock fan.
